GASSED ON TRACK 26'

My first attempt at motorsport photography came on a day dominated by dark clouds and persistent rain. Unsure whether my camera’s weather sealing would withstand the conditions, I spent much of the shoot protecting it beneath my jacket while taking every opportunity to capture the action.

The challenging light pushed me to experiment with shutter speed and exposure, balancing frozen moments with motion blur to convey the speed and energy of the event. While many images ended up underexposed due to the gloomy conditions, I embraced the mood, allowing the shadows and grit to become part of the story these photographs tell.
